Happy One Year Anniversary Konn :]

Heyo everyone, it’s Ryan. As you guys know, I’m not much of a Tumblr poster, or any kind of poster in that case. Today, February 15^th is a very significant date for me and Konn, for it was the exact date that we exchanged our first Facebook conversation, the day we became an official couple, and the same date for all the future anniversaries to come. I like to stay consistent with everything I do, ranging from important dates to the way I live my life. 

This relationship between me and Konn stemmed from a long distance relationship (of over 400 miles) and for at least half the year we’ve been dating, seeing her once a month was terribly difficult. I know those of you in long distance relationships know what it feels like; it’s depressing. But to compensate for that, I have to thank oovoo for lending me a big hand in keeping my relationship strong and visual. I can see my girlfriend every day and night through webcam and it makes us that much closer. Everything is great right? Almost. The next big challenge is college life. I’ve seen so many couples separate due to the distance and how it’s not like how it used to be. There’s always something going on in the dorms, or some new party going on Thursday night or something along those lines. Fortunately for me, I’m handling college very well and making this particular college experience a positive factor in my relationship. Going to UCLA has brought me 90% physically closer to Konn and for me, I’m fortunate to be able to see her at least 2 weekends a month. Whenever she comes over, I get excited to be able to relax and swipe her food whenever she’s hungry. Nothing gets much better than this to be honest.

Right, so what does this have to do with anything? I’m not sure, my thoughts get jumbled when I write about Konn because there are so many things to talk about. 

To Konn: Hey baby, It was nice seeing you this weekend for Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary and of course, I had an amazing weekend. I wanted to reassure you that we’ll have the same fun all year, regardless what month it is. I love being your boyfriend and I want to go on so many more adventures with you, so let’s keep this strong okay? I can’t wait to talk to you later today baby. I love you…THAT MUCH <3

Okay Fine! It’s Thanksgiving and my girlfriend deserves nothing less than what I will write for her.

Konn Duong and I have been dating for 9 months and 10 days this Thanksgiving, and there’s a whole lot to be thankful for. For some reason, after I dated Konn, I’ve been treated better than I’ve been ever treated by anyone before. I thought it was probably just a relationship thing, where the girlfriend must just show more love to the boyfriend, but this was different. Konn has put her maximum effort in this relationship sealing all the gaps that we encounter every day. This girl is a hard worker, but I can tell that she is working her hardest on keeping sure that I’m satisfied during every part of the relationship. Whenever we have small disagreements or even larger ones, it’s only because she loves me THAT much. This girl is unreal. I swore in my life, I’d never thought I have such crazy and fun girlfriend. 

And although I’ve already put 100% of my effort into this relationship, I wanted to say that this Thanksgiving is a time for improvement. I knew I was lucky, I knew I was loved, and I knew I was in the hands of the best girl. Time and time again, you ask me to write more blogs, post more stuff on your wall, and write you more letters and I wanna apologize for the times that I’ve disappointed you and made you simply settle for less than you deserve. I’ve never not smiled having a conversation with you and I wanna make sure that, even when you have the worst day in the world, I can make you smile with a simple conversation. I know this blog doesn’t compensate shit for anything but the reason I wanna finish this fast is because I have you to Oovoo with immediately after and nothing in the world compares to how great talking to you is. And trust me, your other attempt-boys know what that feels like!

My Konn Duong, you’re the sweetest and most beautiful girl in the world, and because of that, she’s mine and not yours! I can’t wait for you to get into USC one of these days, cuz even though we’ll be rivals, we’ll only be THAT much closer <3

HAPPY 9 MONTHS KONN!

So I really don’t blog much but today is a special day! It’s our 3/4 of a year! I sometimes wish to say a bunch of stuff about my girlfriend but there are so many things flowing into my head that sometimes, I don’t know what to say. But Konn is the sweetest girlfriend I would ever want in the whole world. Although she is really mean to me sometimes, she treats me so well when I’m with her. She is always willing to drive over to UCLA to come visit me, always makes it easy for me to make decisions, and always puts a big smile on my face (don’t get me wrong, she’s definitely not funny!). She is a sweetheart that always ensures that I am happy and that I am doing really well. Konn is always the one that dresses up to impress me and stuff and she never feels like she needs anyone else in her life because I’m her numero uno! When I go over to her house, she feeds me until I feel like I’m going to explode, which is definitely a good feeling mwahaha. Anyway, I wish I could ramble about her all day, but I’m sure I’ve broken several grammar rules that ruined my coolness.

What I’m trying to say is, that I love you Konn Duong! Thank you very much for being my hot girlfriend! <3
